What is Sport Massage?

Sport Massage is simply the use of therapeutic massage techniques applied correctly to an athlete's training/competition cycle. We'll implement Myofascial work, deep tissue, stretching, IASTM, cupping, RockTape, and anything else in our toolbox methods to ensure maximum results. Not sure what those words mean? Check out the Methods section below.

We have extensive experience with CrossFit, Diving, Lacrosse, Martial Arts (Ninjitsu, BJJ, Tae Kwon Do), Olympic Lifting, Power Lifting, Soccer, and Swimming. Additionally we have worked with Cyclists, Runners, Tri-athletes and even Underwater Hockey players.

Check out the optional methods, modalities and skills that are brought to each session for complete results.

IASTM is the use for tool to help regulate the nervous system as well as address the soft tissue dysfunction

Specialized suction cups used freeing trapped superficial nerves, helping with exercise recovery, and reducing chronic pain.

Deep Tissue

Use of hand techniques to address the deep layers of the body. The techniques are more about the depth than the pressure utilized during the session.

Myofascial Massage

Techniques used to influence the interplay between the muscle and fascial layers.

Stretchy tape is utilized to cue body position/posture, hasten recovery, and provide comfort to injuries.

Corrective Exercise

Static and dynamic assessment used to design effective programs to take your results beyond the session.
